Wurlitzer Keypad Fault

With the change in weather, we are starting to see an increase in demand for Wurlitzer keypad foils.

Symptoms of faulty foils are;

Unresponsive buttons.
LCD showing selection numbers that do not correspond with the buttons actually selected.
A time delay in response from a selection.

Replacement of button foils is relatively simple.

The part number of the foil is 050616 and are available for immediate delivery.

Snakky Max machines arriving next week

Equipment update

After selling out of our recent shipment of Necta Rondo, we now have a shipment of Snakky Max machines arriving about 19^th April.

For those of you that don't know, the SnakkyMax is the little brother of the Rondo. Made in Italy, it shares many of the same features and components.

Snakky Max has the capacity to offer a wide variety of products and is flexible enough to offer snack, cans or bottles - or a combination of all three. The user-friendly features, such as the ergonomic delivery bin and simple interactive keypad buttons, combined in a machine that delivers great value for money and enhances any environment in medium to large locations.

These are available for $5,995 (plus GST) including a 6 tube Coin Mechanism AND a Note Reader.

NRI - Currenza Coin Mechanisms

Vending Direct are the NZ agents for Crane Payment Solutions (the owners of NRI) for the German made Currenza coin mechanism.

There are several operators already using NRI Currenza Coin Mechanisms in their machines and the feedback to date is very positive.

The Currenza is a six tube coin mechanism, with several differences to the competition:

2 * $2.00 tubes - means you are less likely to run out of fast moving denominations.
3 motor payout - in the event of a payout motor jam, there are still 4 tubes available to give change.
Easy access to coin sort area - makes cleaning quick and easy.
22% higher tube capacity than other 6 tube mechanisms.

There are three versions available;

Currenza White - No program buttons
Currenza Green - Program buttons, no screen
Currenza Blue - Program buttons and screen

There are also some other options which may be of use in the future; the Currenza has the option of being able to accept a SIM card!

We are still doing some work around this (specifically for coffee machines).

In addition to being a well-equipped and reliable coin mechanism, there is one other benefit - price!

We have managed to negotiate some great rates with the manufacturer, pricing for the Green version is $695+GST!

Coke Purchase New Snack Machines

Coke New Zealand (CCA Amatil) have purchased over 100 new Crane Merchant 4 and 6 Vending Machines. These machines are due to arrive in the next few weeks.

After trialling a Merchant 6 at Britomart in Auckland, CCA made the decison to purchase these machines for a variety of reasons including:

Deco's have arrived!

The first shipment of the Deco range of glass fronted vendors has arrived. These vendors are available in VM3, VM4 and VM5 configurations. All vendors are fitted with refrigeration for chilled beverages, double glazing to eliminate moisture buildup and sure vend technology. Vendors can be fitted with Vendomation technology for remote monitoring.

Vendors accept both a coin mech and note reader.

Electrical Tag Testing

Appliance testing is to check test and tag electrical appliances for safety from electric shock and fire.

Electrical regulations have always required that appliances are tested for safety from fire and electric shock.
The standard AS/NZS 3760 is sited by OSH as the means of compliance for all New Zealand businesses.
An accident with an untagged appliance means that OSH is likely to prosecute management personally.

Penalties are up to $500,000 and two years imprisonment.To protect you, your staff, and clients from shock and fire, it is compulsory to test and tag.

More and more sites are requesting this test be carried out annually.

VDL Test and Tag all machines before they leave the Warehouse as a matter of course and can carry out this service for you on site.

LED Lighting for Snackmates

Vending Direct are happy to announce that a 3w LED lighting kit is available for all Snackmate models. The kit consists of all the required parts and can be fitted by anyone with very little effort. The kit includes all the wiring, transformer, and plugs to install into a Snackmate. The great thing about LED lighting is there is no heat buildup from the light source. As a result products in the top row of the vendor will not be heated. This kit enhances product display especially in areas of low natural light.
